Snooze

There are days when u don't feel like waking up, getting off the bed. Pune, for a while now, has been having beautiful mornings. Its chilly, little windy, and bathed in golden sunlight. Not harsh, not too soft. Today was one such morning.
Was bone tired yesterday and ended the day with a glass of milk before i hit the bed. When it came to waking up this morning, i hit snooze like 5 times! Basically, that resulted in skipping the walk on the road. went straight to the gym and hit the treadmill with a vengeance. Started immediately with interval training at 5 degree incline and speed ranging from 5.5 to 6kmph for 10mins.
Went thru basic warm up, 10 inclined push ups, and then 2 sets of 15 step ups with 10kg weights. Followed that up with 2 sets of bicep dead lift on the chair, then inclined bench press with 10kg dumbells. Ended the weight training with regular bicep curls and tricep extension.
Need to focus on large muscle groups. Going to spend more time on lower body next week onwards. Squats, lunges, step ups - all with weights.
Of course, the abs workout must not stop. Wish there was something like "spot reduction" :)
